• Compress once from your best source—re-compressing an already heavily compressed JPG adds ugly blocks faster.
• For retina displays, pair modest compression with Resize Image instead of shipping huge full-resolution files.
• Product photos with fine text overlays may need higher quality than lifestyle shots— spot-check one file first.
• Strip GPS EXIF before publishing customer or team photos publicly.

• JPEG is lossy—extreme quality settings will show banding and block artifacts.
• Compression does not change dimensions; use Resize Image to reduce pixel count for bigger wins.
